Pagi jumaat...
We lost Wa Wan Aisyah today. There wont be anymore Hari Raya visits at Wa's place in Alor Setar. No more bunga rampai by Wa for the next wedding. I will always associate Wa with sambal belachan yang kaw, gulai ikan yang best and the source of latest cerita. We will miss her dearly. Al Fatihah.

it is a sad chapter in my life. losing the first amongst mak's siblings. you' right fa.she has alwayas been one of the most vocal besides mak tam of course. physically too, she was in the best of health if compared to mum. and to watch her deteriote so rapidly in front of my eyes. .. i am still finding it hard to cope with the loss. managed to extract abt 11 traditional recipes from her on my last visit to see her in yan wan ferial's hse. it was as if i knew that was my last encounter with her. didn't manage to try them and tell her the results but yan managed to cook a few dishes and they turned out well. i m most grateful to her for doing the bunga rampai for aisysh's wedding.. she was most dissapointed she couldn't make them earlier.. that was her speciality. she was so excited abt telling me how to go abt doing it. even demonstrated the perasap process . too many good memories of her. this episode is affecting my perpective in life..even a turning point for me...
